Lee Vernon

CEO / OWNER
Lee has been a first responder/firefighter /EMT for more than 30 years. He spent most of his career (over 2 decades) with the Austin Fire Department as well as other smaller departments prior to and after his career with Austin. Throughout his career, his diverse response territories included industrial, manufacturing, corporate, and violence prone areas. He’s also been on wildland, search & rescue, swift water, and boat fire teams which accounts for over 25,000 response calls during his lifelong career. Being able to stay calm and concentrate on the problem at hand means being able to use your skills in different ways. Injuries and accidents are always going to change, so it’s important to be able to “think outside the box” to buy time for those who are hurt until medical help can come. Lee believes that having simple, thorough, and varied skills is key to being fully prepared for an emergency. He has also spent over 2 decades teaching professionals medical and firefighting skill sets as well as speaking at various national conferences pertaining to prehospital medicine and safety. Lee is also a board certified and licensed Naturopathic/Holistic Medical Practitioner and owner of The Holistic Wellness Center.
