Practical Hands-on Learning Experience
When I was asked to provide training to an operations group for medical services, I didn’t know much about it. I decided to try out this guy named Lee and went to his 40-hour emergency medical responder class. I was absolutely amazed at the training. I’d thought I’d be bored to tears with power point and still not know what to do in a real situation. However, I soon realized the class was practical, hands on, and these guys knew what they were talking about. I went back to my operations group and told them about the class, a lot of them with decades of medical training, and they wanted to see it. I brought Lee’s group into my plant for operations EMR training. Operations guys with years and years of experience learned a lot and told me it was the best class for medical training they ever had. I highly recommend this company for any safety professional looking for a medical instructor for EMR training of your emergency response team.

This course is held in Red Lodge, Montana due to the various terrain and wilderness opportunities. We also travel across the nation if an individual would like to host one of our classes locally.
The class will provide all training adjuncts and material for the skills taught and performed. If you have gear that you would like to test, try, or use, please do so as this class will give an honest assessment on said gear and equipment. Outside of the class materials, we recommend bringing comfortable hiking boots/shoes, and layered clothing due to temperature and weather changes that routinely happen when in the mountains at high elevation. Light jackets and/or rain gear is also recommended. Normal temps in Red Lodge are typically 70-low 80’s during the day and 40-50’s at night. But, it HAS been known to snow every month of the year here, so come prepared.
Yes, you will receive a nationally accredited 2 Year Wilderness First Aid certification as well as a 2 Year Wilderness First Responder certification by Code 3 Medical & Safety. In some cases, we can include CME (Continuing Medical Education) hours for those in a medical profession that requires such.
If an attendee has to cancel, we will offer a full refund as long as it is NOT within 30 days of class. If you have to cancel within 30 days, then you will receive credit for a future class. We have to have multiple reservations in place and paid for 30 day prior to class in which we are not refunded. If for any reason Code 3 Medical and Safety has to cancel a class due to lack of attendance or extreme circumstances, a full refund will be provided to all attendees. All class registration will cease 31 days prior to the class date and any refunds due to class cancellation on our end will be refunded the next day, 30 days prior to class date.
